My favorite Film

I don’t be a great cinema lover, but definitely if a think in my favorite movie, I think immediately in Across the Universe. This is a recent musical. It was released in the 2007, and was directed by for Julie Taymor. I found this movie in 2009`s summer.
This is a romantic musical that related the history of “Jude” (Hey Jude) and “Lucy” ( Lucy in the sky with diamonds) which fall in love in the context of the Vietnam War. The history to advance at the United States after Jude travel to USA from Liverpool, to looking for his father.
In USA Jude met to Lucy, who was the sister on his best friend. All they move to New York and rent a room to a Singer called Sadie (inspired in Janis Joplin), who has a great band of music.
When the brother or Lucy receive orders to go how soldier to Vietnam, Lucy to become involved in a dangerous anti-war movement.
All the musical compositions in the film are songs of The Beatles, in total are 34 songs, and each scene is related with the song, but maybe we need think very much the real meaning of them.
My favorite scene is the song that Jude sing for Lucy over an skyscraper (All you need is Love), this scene is a tribute for the last concert to The Beatles: Rooftop Concert (London, 1969).

This picture couldn`t be very original. Everybody has seen the moon in many opportunities in our lives. But this picture is special for me because I remember many beautiful moments with it. I took this photo in April 2008, when I was 16 years old. I went to The Elqui Valley with my classmates for two week. We visited many different places how the Ovalle Museum, The Gabriela Mistral `house, her Tomb, The Charm Valley ( an archaeological site) and many typical places of the Area of Coquimbo and La Serena. This travel was very beautiful and relaxing, and it was a gift to the school for my Class.
This particular photo was taken in a visit to the Mamalluca Observatory. This place is approximately one hour to Elqui Valley, and is really a beautiful and special experience when you can see the sky in this area. The visit consist in a presentation where an astronomist explain you the methods that they use in this observatory and the investigations that here realize for studies the stars, planets and galaxy. Then, he`ll show you any important stars, planets and other particularities in the sky (I saw the constellation of my zodiac sign!).
The photo was taken for me with an enormous telescope of the observatory; this telescope can be utilized for the visitors with the supervision and help to the guide.

Education Issues

The Education is a human rigth, but in our contry, it isn’t guaranteed by the Constitution. Therefore is increasing the privatization in the Education, and the families need to borrow to pay the education for their . This is a big problem, and and requires time to resolve it.
But in the but in the specific case of the strike and the demonstration of this week, the demands are urgent and for specific things.
This are Specific demands in relation to scholarships.
First, is very important that the grants are given to people who really need it, It is, for socio-economic criteria, and non-academic.
Second, that the criteria for measuring socioeconomic conditions is better structured.
And finally, that more people can be benefited with more and better scholarships.
In the other hand , the demands on long-term are basically that the education is recognized as a right therefore : Education, Free State. And in the private education, the state to intervene and control the profit. And the private universities must take responsibility for funding students who require benefits.
I think it is very important to know about all these problems and work out solutions for them.
but I think it would be good to integrate the rest of the community to discuss theseissues, because education is something that affects us all as a society

Planning a Travel

When We’ll travel, is very important planning many things. For example, where we´ll lodge, the places that we want to visit, and certainly the money that we´ll need.
For it, is very important to consult the web site to the places that we think to visit. In the web site, we can find the prices, admission and opening times, indications for getting there.
I did a Itinerary for a travel to London, and the places that I would like to visit in one week.
Some Places that I chose were London Eye, The British Museum , Natural History Museum, Kew Gardens , Camden Market , Madame Tussauds, and Tower of London.
The total cost only for the tickets in this places is £93.58 ( but some of them are free).
Also, we must looking for the better way for getting there. In my case, I searched the tube Stations nearest to the places and the Travel zone for each.
